Language Development (6&9)

Published by flower at 1:54 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

Language development in infants begin with emtions from their face as well as cries and coos. Infants then move to sounds, facial expression and gestures. They begin to imitate what they see and hear. Infants language is not a perfect form of speech yet we are able to understand them and know what they need, want or mean. It is important for parents to talk in short sentences to their infant. It is important for adults to read to infants and play with them. Adults who smile when talking to infants show comfort and reinforcement with shaping language. This stimulates the infant to intake more in learning language.
